About Us
After an exhaustive study, we identified a niche in the market: in Italy, there are very few organizations, events, or fairs specialized in Latin American art, and the artists from the region lack the necessary exposure.
The art market shows a growing interest in new expressions and cultures, but most of the knowledge about Latin American art is limited to Brazilian artists, leaving a gap for other creators and their stories.
This is where WUAPAH was born, with the mission to promote and present Latin American art through events, exhibitions, festivals, and fairs in both conventional and innovative spaces. We focus on helping galleries, artists, and collectors to discover, buy, and sell art, connecting cultures through our communication and relationship skills.
Additionally, we seek to foster artistic development and intercultural dialogue, driving economic growth and global visibility for Latin American art.
The Visionary Behind WUAPAH
Julian Kunhardt has always found his greatest inspiration in the land where he was born. As a proud son of the Dominican Republic, he has taken every opportunity to showcase the talent of his country to the world. His education at UASD, with honors, and the scholarships from MIREX and MESCYT, took him to Europe, where he gained a global vision, but always with the intention of giving back to his homeland.
WUAPAH is the materialization of that vision. This project connects the Dominican cultural wealth with the world, positioning our art not only as a form of expression but as a symbol of excellence. For Julian, art is his way of giving back to his country all that he has received.
Guided by his commitment to opening doors for artists and promoting culture, Julian seeks for Dominican art, the Caribbean, and Latin America to take their rightful place on the international stage, under the highest standards of quality and recognition.
For WUAPAH, international visibility is key to positioning the art and culture of the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean, and Latin America on the global stage. Our exposure strategy is based on collaboration with influential figures and iconic spaces in Europe, starting with Naples, a city with a rich artistic and cultural history.
Ernesto Esposito, renowned fashion designer and art collector, has been a key figure in promoting contemporary art internationally, including notable projects in Brazil. His vast collection, which includes works by artists like Andy Warhol and Cindy Sherman, positions him as a global cultural reference. For WUAPAH, Esposito curated the first selection of Dominican artists and works, ensuring that the region's talent is projected at the highest level on the international stage.
With an outstanding career in contemporary art curation, Maria Savarese has collaborated with renowned institutions such as the Museo Madre, the National Archaeological Museum, and the PAN in Naples. Her expertise will be key in connecting Dominican art with Europe, ensuring that each WUAPAH exhibition meets the highest standards of quality and cultural relevance.
Ciro Delfino is a central figure in the development of artistic projects in Naples. His deep knowledge of the Neapolitan cultural scene and his ability to manage global events will be essential for WUAPAH to reach an international audience and strengthen its presence in the European market.

This innovative project was launched by gallerist Vera Vita Gioia, who decided to revitalize the area, which once belonged to her family. With over 600 square meters of cement, glass, and iron, Cap Napoli Est is the perfect blend of the industrial and the artistic, offering a unique environment for the exhibition of contemporary art. This space not only aims to be a place of exhibition but also an art incubator and a point of creative interaction between cultures, nature, and the visual arts. Vera Vita Gioia’s goal is to make Cap Napoli Est an inclusive space where various forms of art can flourish, providing a platform for both established and emerging artists.
